Details: The public is invited to attend a lecture by Sonoma State University history Professor Steve Estes, who will address the evolution of race relations and racial politics — particularly in the American South — since the 1963 March on Washington.

Estes is a native of South Carolina. He is the author of "I Am a Man! Race, Manhood, and the Struggle for Civil Rights" (2005) and "Ask and Tell: Gay and Lesbian Veterans Speak Out" (2007).
