WHAT: Free Electronics Recycling Event, hosted by the CSU Stanislaus Geography Club

WHEN: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6

WHERE: Parking lot 3 or 4, CSU Stanislaus, Turlock

DETAILS: The Geography Club at CSU Stanislaus will host its fourth e-waste event in the past three years on April 6, and the community is invited to donate old electronics to be safely recycled. Among items eligible for recycling are laptop and desktop computers, monitors, televisions, cell phones, MP3 players, printers, ink and toner cartridges, microwaves, and cables and wires. Large appliances and light bulbs will not be accepted.

The student club has collected a total of more than 38,000 pounds of electronics in its previous three e-waste events, partnering with All Green Recycling in Tustin. The club hopes the event will help bring community members to campus and educate them about the proper disposal of electronic waste.
