Information on what kinds of financial aid is available for college and the process to apply for it will be the focus of the Monday, Feb. 8 Cash for College Workshop at California State University, Stanislaus.
Open to the community for all students and parents, including high school seniors and prospective college students, the free program is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Room 130 of the Mary Stuart Rogers Educational Services Gateway Building at CSU Stanislaus, One University Circle, Turlock. Current high school seniors who attend the financial aid information program will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship drawing this spring.
Hosted by the CSU Stanislaus Financial Aid Office, the workshop will cover how to file the 2010-11 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Cal Grant GPA verification forms for the upcoming college year. CSU Stanislaus Financial Aid staff will be on hand to conduct the program and respond to questions.
