What: Annual “Expanding Your Horizons” Conference
When: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 31
Where: Demergasso-Bava Hall, CSU Stanislaus Turlock campus
“Expanding Your Horizons” provides tools and skills that students grades 8 through 12 can use both now and in the future as they lay the groundwork for success in college and their careers in the years ahead.
Workshops for students and parents, presented by education professionals, will offer strategies to maximize student motivation and success in all academic subjects, including mathematics and science. Students who are struggling in any subject or simply want to do better will benefit by attending.
The program is cosponsored by the Central California Mathematics Project (CCMP), High School Mathematics Access Program (HiMAP) and Math & Science Teaching Initiative (MSTI).
