The College of the Arts’ Department of Theatre at California State University, Stanislaus is proud to present "It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play."
The College of the Arts and the Department of Theatre invite you to enjoy this timeless tale based on the 1943 short story “The Greatest Gift” by Philip Van Doren Stern. Made into a Christmas classic by film producer and director Frank Capra, this production of It’s a Wonderful Life has been recreated into a modern live radio play. Follow George Bailey’s journey as he learns the true meaning of Christmas. This holiday performance is suitable for the whole family.
The production runs from Thursday, December 3, through Sunday, December 13, 2009, in the Mainstage Theatre at CSU Stanislaus. Performances are held at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. matinees are featured on Sunday. Ticket reservations are available starting Monday, November 30, 2009, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Theatre Box Office.
