What: High School Mathematics Access Program (HiMAP)

When: 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on select Saturdays, from Sept. 8 to May 17

Where: CSU Stanislaus, Turlock campus

Details: HiMAP is a pre-collegiate program for students in grades 6 through 12 and anyone needing help in math or science schoolwork. The program offers:
  • coaching sessions in mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, general science and computer/technology;
  • coaching for CST Math, CAHSEE and SAT Math tests;
  • presentations on topics including study skills, applying for colleges and financial aid; and
  • enrichment sessions in laboratory sciences, engineering, animation and programming.
HiMAP coaches include university faculty, secondary school teachers and university students. There is no deadline to register, and students can begin HiMAP at any time. The cost is $150 for the full year or $100 for either the fall or spring semesters.
