Where: Snider Recital Hall, CSU Stanislaus, Turlock
Details: Carol Smeltzer Channing, mezzo-soprano (class of ’10) and Kristina Stamper, soprano (class of ’06), will perform together for the first time in a vocal recital on Friday, March 1. Accompanied by Phil Smallwood, who also attended CSU Stanislaus, the program is a mix of selections from musical theater and other genres, ranging from a set based on food and relationships to selections from the operetta, “Candide.”
Tickets are $12 for general admission and $8 for students and staff. The CSU Stanislaus Alumni Association will host a reception at 6:30 p.m. All CSU Stanislaus alumni are invited to attend.
