The Early Assessment Program at California State University, Stanislaus is pleased to announce the bilingual education fair Take Charge! Prepare for your future.
Who: Open to sixth graders through high school seniors and their parents
When: Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20
Where: Check-in at the Carol Burke Lounge in the University Union located just north of the Mary Stuart Rogers building at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock.
How much: Free
Why: To help students understand the importance of education and early preparation
How: This is not a traditional college fair. Before we can talk about what it takes for students to succeed, we need to identify why they should do well in school in the first place.
To illustrate the importance of education and early preparation, families will have to visit a variety of stations before reaching college/university representatives. The stations are designed to inspire students to think about their future, picture themselves as high school/college graduates, and pledge to successfully complete high school and prepare for college and their career.
Students will learn about major and career exploration, admission requirements, financial aid and much more!
