What: Central California Math Project (CCMP) Annual Conference
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 (date changed from Feb. 4)
Where: Demergasso Bava Hall, CSU Stanislaus, Turlock

Presenters and conference facilitators include classroom teachers, CSU Stanislaus math faculty members and education specialists.

Topics will include current issues in K-12 mathematics education, including trends in education reform, Common Core Standards, techniques for teaching ELLs, algebra in high school chemistry, tips on using technology in the classroom, and tried and tested practical strategies from experienced teachers on reviewing and re-teaching with pizzazz.

$25 registration fee covers continental breakfast, lunch, lanyard with flash drive, workshops and all conference materials. Professional development hours are available.
