What: CSU Stanislaus Science Day
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012
Where: Naraghi Hall of Science, CSU Stanislaus Main Campus, Turlock
Members of the public, and especially families with children, are invited to attend the first-ever CSU Stanislaus Science Day at CSU Stanislaus. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature activities for kids, science shows, open labs, and guided tours, which will include the campus planetarium. Fans of insects, skeletons, skulls, fossils, and snakes, take note—there will be plenty to see, touch and learn about the natural sciences of chemistry, physics, biology and geology at Science Day.
Science Day is being planned by four campus student organizations—The Pre-Health Society, American Chemistry Society Club, Bio Club, and Society of Physics Students.
