More than 100 education professionals will be in attendance on Saturday, April 30 when the Central California Math Project (CCMP) hosts its annual conference at California State University (CSU) Stanislaus. The all-day conference will include presentations by 15 guest speakers speaking on a range of topics and current issues in K-12 mathematics education, including trends in education reform, effective use of linguistic frames in teaching ELLs, making sense of pacing calendars, tips on using technology in the classroom, and tried and tested practical strategies from experienced teachers on reviewing and re-teaching with pizzazz. In addition, CCMP will welcome a delegation of eight educators and administrators from Thailand who will discuss contemporary trends in education in Thailand.

The conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the California State University, Stanislaus Turlock campus. Registration is $25 and participants may earn eight professional development hours.
