Where: Mary Stuart Rogers Educational Services Building, Room 130

Details: In partnership with Hanover Research and San Francisco State University, the CSU Stanislaus Fall 2013 Grant Conference will provide the resources, strategies and tools necessary for grant success, both before and after receiving the award.

The pre-award workshop will cover the basics of proposal development. Billions of dollars in grant funding is available every year for research, educational support and promoting student success. Grants bring in additional dollars to provide valuable programs that the campus wouldn’t otherwise be able to support financially.

The post-award workshop will focus on how to manage a grant once it’s been received. Certain rules and regulations must be followed to ensure a grant’s success — for example, when traveling internationally using federal funds, one must follow the Fly America Act. The grant conference will offer insight on those regulations and more.
