The California State University, Stanislaus College of Business will present special recognition awards on Thursday, May 10 to nine community members and a pair of organizations for their support of University programs.

Awards will be presented at the Seventh Annual College of Business Recognition and Awards Banquet scheduled for 6 p.m. in the University Union Event Center. Open to invited guests and the media, the program will also recognize the achievements of CSU Stanislaus College of Business students, faculty, staff, alumni, members of the Business Advisory Board, and business leaders from the region.

Award recipients will include Sylvester Aguilar, Senior Vice President of Bank of the West in Modesto, and Mike Gemperle of Gemperle Enterprises in Turlock, Outstanding Business Leaders; Matt Bruno, President and founder of Turlock Dairy & Refrigeration, Inc. of Turlock, Outstanding Entrepreneur; Stephanie Gallo of E&J Gallo Winery in Modesto, Outstanding Young Entrepreneur; Paul Kortschak, President and CEO of Medic Alert, and John Lazar, Mayor of Turlock, Outstanding Community Leaders; and Brett Dickerson of the Gianelli and Fores law firm in Modesto, Outstanding Business Alumni. Steve Mort, Vice President of Don's Mobile Glass and Chair of the College's Business Advisory Board, will also receive a special recognition award along with William Foltz of Foltz & Associates logistics consultants as Outstanding Business Advisory Board member.

Special Recognition honors will also go to Medic Alert and the Turlock Chamber of Commerce.
