Join us for Sip N’ Science, a community science talk that brings people together to enjoy food, drinks and discovery.
Dr. Melanie Medina will present a special bilingual talk in English and Spanish about the fascinating world of invertebrates. Explore the incredible diversity, unique adaptations and important roles these animals play in our ecosystems, including the surprising strategies sea slugs use to find love.
The evening will include time to connect with other science enthusiasts, enjoy a brief science talk and participate in a Q&A. Whether you are passionate about science or simply curious to learn something new, Sip N’ Science offers a welcoming opportunity to ask questions, meet others and engage with science in the community.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Silos, located at 320 Madonia Ave., Modesto. The talk begins at 6 p.m.
Open to adults 21 and older. RSVP is required.
