Remembering Who We Are Together

Join us for the 10th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day celebration, Remembering Who We Are Together. This community gathering invites people of all backgrounds to reconnect with Earth-centered ways of knowing carried by peoples and cultures worldwide.

Held in California’s Central Valley, the event honors the Native Nations whose homelands we live, learn, work and grow upon. Through Indigenous knowledge workshops, shared food and community dialogue, participants will explore the relationships among ancestors, land, water, food and one another.

Together, we will consider how Indigenous knowledge, African diasporic traditions and other ancestral ways of knowing can help us respond to food insecurity, extreme heat, water challenges, environmental pollution, displacement and other issues affecting our communities. The event offers an opportunity to learn, share a meal, connect with others and reflect on how we can help create a more livable Central Valley and Earth for generations to come.

The program includes:

  • Welcome, blessing and opening
  • Indigenous knowledge workshops
  • Indigenous foods dinner and community gathering
  • Community program
  • Collective closing

All are welcome to attend.
