Discussion with Veteran Affairs Office Personnel and Veterans
Time: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
We are hosting a delegation of professionals from Ukraine who are invested in developing essential services and otherwise assisting with the re-assimilation of veterans of the Ukraine-Russia war into Ukrainian society. They will share first person accounts of life on the front lines and life in a war ravaged country. They also hope to learn about support services our veterans receive. The morning session will allow our faculty and students to hear from and engage with the delegation (some contributions will be translated). The afternoon session will connect the delegation with the leadership of our Veterans Affairs Office and students who are veterans to share their experience and understanding of how our support systems contribute to their successful reintegration as veterans.
