Transient Presence Fine Art Exhibition

The University Art Gallery is happy to announce the exhibition Transient Presence by artist Marie Thibeault from Tuesday, February 13 — Friday, March 15, 2024, with a reception Thursday, February 15, 2024. 

Marie Thibeault is an internationally exhibited painter who currently resides in San Pedro, CA. Thibeault received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from University of California, Berkeley. Transient Presence is a survey of Marie Thibeault’s recent work explores the effects of environmental strain on the landscape. This special exhibition juxtaposes her large-scale paintings in the main gallery with a series of mixed media drawings in the back gallery, inviting the viewer to experience her process and the unique interrelationships of the two mediums.  

Gallery hours are Monday -- Friday from 12:00 noon -- 4:00 pm, with a late closing Thursday evenings at 9:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. This exhibition is open to the public.
