Stan State Art Space is pleased to announce the reception for the fine art exhibition by Stan State Art Department Faculty member Dean DeCocker, The Tide Begins to Turn, on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

The artist talk will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a question and answer session.

The work in this exhibit continue to demonstrate De Cocker’s interest with winged-shaped structures, mid-century modern design and the light and space art movement that was popular in Los Angeles.  De Cocker explores formal elements by transforming flat, two-dimensional surfaces into three-dimensional objects.

This exhibition is free of cost and open to the public. Gallery hours are Tuesday -- Saturday 12:00 noon -- 5:00 p.m.

Stan State Art Space is located at 226 N. First Street in downtown Turlock.

Free on-street parking is available.
