Sustainability Month Kick-off and Alternative Transportation Fair
Join Stan State Sustainability as we kick-off Sustainability Month with an Alternative Transportation Fair during Warrior Wednesday. Visit our alternative transportation partners to learn how to travel using other modes of transportation besides fossil fuel-burning cars – local transit systems, rail systems, and tools to find a lower impact way to get around Turlock and the Central Valley.
Amtrak San Joaquins – learn how to travel affordably via train and thruway bus to destinations across California
Eco Warriors – come meet your on-campus sustainability student organization, learn how to join, and what projects are coming up this year
Stan State Sustainability – join EV car drivers to have all your questions answered about driving electric vehicles, including where you can charge your car for free on campus
Turlock Transit – learn how to use your Warrior ID to ride the bus in Turlock for free, and how to utilize the on-demand service
University Police Department – get your bicycle licensed for free (bike must be present), and learn the best way to secure your bike using campus bike racks
California High-Speed Rail Authority – get connected to information and career opportunities on the nation’s first high-speed rail system currently under construction
