Philosophy Lecture Series
Join us for an enlightening lecture as part of our Philosophy Lecture Series for the academic year 24-25! We’re excited to welcome Dr. Jason Aleksander from San Jose State University, who will explore the theme "Heroism, Humility, and Hubris: The Many Faces of Magnanimity."
Dr. Aleksander, a co-editor of Mystical Theology and Renaissance Platonism in the Time of Cusanus (Brill 2023), will delve into the complex nature of magnanimity, examining how these intertwined concepts shape our understanding of character and ethics. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with profound philosophical ideas and participate in stimulating discussion. We encourage you to bring your thoughts and questions to enrich the dialogue.
