The Latin American Poetry in Translation Reading Group at Stanislaus State brings together students, faculty, and community members to explore the richness and diversity of Latin American poetry. Through collective readings and conversations, participants engage with poets from across Latin America, exploring themes of identity, history, culture, politics, and the possibilities of poetic language. All readings are available in English translation, and no knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is required. The group welcomes anyone interested in poetry, literature, and cross-cultural dialogue.
