Home Left Behind BFA Solo Exhibition

The University Galleries are proud to announce the BFA Solo Exhibition Home Left Behind by graduating senior Silver Harvey. The exhibition will be held from April 9--13, 2024 with a reception Tuesday April 9, 2024 from 4:00--6:00 p.m, at the BFA Solo Gallery in the Stan State Art Space located at 226 N. First St. in downtown Turlock. The exhibition and reception are free of cost and open to the public. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from noon--5:00 p.m.

Harvey describes her work: 

"I’m an artist creating atmospheric narratives depicting domestic interiors seen through the lens of dissociation and paranoia. Using Oil and Acrylic Paint, I explore the combination and division of pictorial space, in addition to the use of highly saturated colors, to create unsettling spaces which holds memories and deep grief. With the purpose of evoking discussion regarding grief, and to investigate the fear and discomfort associated with death."
