The Office of Graduate Studies and Research is hosting information sessions for the California Pre-Doctoral (Pre-Doc) Program and the Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP).
The California Pre-Doctoral Program is designed to increase the pool of potential California State University faculty by supporting the doctoral aspirations of CSU students who have experienced economic and educational disadvantages. Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are qualified to apply for this scholarship.
The goal of the California State University Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP) is to increase the number of faculty with the qualifications, motivation, and skills needed to teach the diverse students of the CSU. CDIP prepares promising doctoral students for CSU faculty positions by providing financial support, mentorship by CSU faculty, and professional development and grant resources. Lecturers, graduating seniors, and graduate students, are qualified to apply for this funding for your future Doctorial program.
Faculty interested in learning more about becoming mentors for students participating in these programs are encouraged to attend one of the following zoom meetings:
- Friday, October 14 from 12-1 p.m.
- Thursday, November 10 from 12:15-1:15 p.m.
