Call for Entries: Art Department Student Exhibition

Entries due October 3, 2024 from 12:00 noon--5:00 p.m. at Stan State Art Space, 226 N. First Street in downtown Turlock

Guidelines

  • Open to students of any major currently enrolled at CSU Stanislaus.
  • Students can submit up to 2 pieces.
  • All 2D, 3D, and digital media accepted.
  • All framed work and work on canvas or panels must be ready to hang with wire or D-rings.
  • Framing is not a requirement for 2D works, magnetic tacks will be used.
  • Video must be submitted on a flash drive.
  • For installation art, submit an 8.5 x 11 inch photo print of your installation (photograph is only for jurying purposes—you will be responsible for the actual installation in the gallery).
  • Students may opt to have their work available for sale.
  • Any art work may not exceed 60 inches in any direction.

Awards

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place recipients will be included in a group exhibition at Stan State Art Space.

Entering Artwork

Bring your physical artwork to Stan State Art Space located at 226 North First Street in downtown Turlock on Thursday, October 3 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Exhibition Dates:

November 14, 2024—January 17, 2025

Reception:

A public opening reception, including the presentation of awards, will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., artist talk at 6:30 p.m. All students included in the exhibition are invited to participate in an artist talk at 6:30 p.m.
