Basic Needs for Little Warriors (Turlock)

Basic Needs will be hosting an event in partnership with Associated Students and the University Student Center to support parenting students and promote information about parenting resources. Parenting students will be able to take what they need for their children, learn about campus and community resources, and apply for CalFresh. All items will be donated by the campus community.

Items may include:

• Child Care Supplies
  • Diapers
  • New or gently used clothes and shoes
  • Bottles and sippy cups
• Educational Resources
  • New or gently used children's books and toys
  • Art and craft supplies for children (e.g., pencils, crayons)
  • New or gently used learning games and activities
• Parenting Support Items
  • new or gently used parenting books or guides
  • Stress-relief tools (e.g., wellness kits, journals)
• School and Study Supplies
  • Study materials (e.g., notebooks, pens, highlighters)
  • Backpacks suitable for both parents and children
