Angela Esau: Our Beautiful Body: The Wonderful World Within
The BFA Solo Gallery at Stan State Art Space is thrilled to announce the Bachelor of Fine Arts Solo Exhibition by graduating senior Angela Esau: Our Beautiful Body: The Wonderful World Within, from November 12 to 16, 2024.
Gallery hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
The human body is a fascinating subject—it contains life while it itself is alive. Through a series of complex processes carried out and assisted by different organ systems (even with the help of microorganisms), the human body remains alive and as healthy as possible! In her exhibition Our Beautiful Body: The Wonderful World Within, Angela explores the intricacies of the human body, along with its functions, structures, and its role as a living whole and as an environment. She uses painting, drawing, and digital media to express her findings and thoughts. She wants to share her fascination with the human body and show you how wonderful it truly is.
Angela Esau is an artist who currently resides in the Central Valley and is a student at Stanislaus State. In high school, she gained an interest in anatomy; this interest has set the tone for the work she’s produced throughout her academic career. She uses a variety of media to create her artworks but enjoys painting and digital media the most. She is part of the BFA program at Stanislaus State and is set to graduate at the end of the 2024 fall semester.
A reception for the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, November 12, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Stan State Art Space.
