Why Minor in Anthropology?
The minor provides a pathway for students to supplement their major with the unique methods and perspectives of anthropology. The minor provides flexibility, allowing for students to take a wide variety of courses in anthropology or to specialize in one area within anthropology.
How to Earn the Anthropology Minor
Requirements
To qualify for this academic minor, students must complete the required number of units with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (C).

1. Complete two following prerequisites with a letter grade of C or better in each course:

- ANTH 2060 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology 3 unit(s)
- ANTH 2080 - Introduction to Physical Anthropology 3 unit(s)
- ANTH 2080 - Introduction to Archaeology 3 unit(s)
2. Complete 12 units of upper-division courses in anthropology with a letter grade of C or better in each course:
(12 units)
- Any upper-division anthropology courses fulfill the minor requirements
