Tutoring is free to all enrolled Stanislaus State students
Our peer educators help students by answering questions, reviewing materials, explaining concepts, repeating ideas, and modeling good study habits.
All our peer educators are hired for their knowledge of specific topics and abilities to effectively communicate. Throughout the semester the peer educators are required to attend training sessions. Peer educators must have received either an "A" or a "B" in order to tutor courses that they have taken or obtain a written referral from their professor.

Can't Find a Tutor?
We may not have tutors available for every course. If you search and don’t find a tutor listed, please submit a request in this form. We want to know which classes students need tutoring for so we can work on recruiting! Please submit a response to our No Tutor Available – Request Form to let us know the demands for your course(s). Keep in mind that the Tutoring Center does not provide support for graduate-level courses and offers only very limited tutoring for upper-division classes.
