TURLOCK, CA—Feb. 15, 2011 — Three individuals have begun assignments at the California State University (CSU), Stanislaus Student Health Center.
Dr. Scott Hennes - A Family Physician for the past 22 years, Dr. Hennes graduated from the University of Alberta with an MD degree in 1987 and Family Practice residency in 1989. After working in Canada for seven years, where he was a doctor for a farm team of the Toronto Blue Jays, Dr. Hennes and his family moved to Turlock, where he was in family practice for the last 15 years with Family Medical Group. Dr. Hennes has experience in international medicine, having worked in clinics in the Amazonas and Andes regions of Peru, and wilderness medicine while living in Canada.
Russell S. Dolce - Russell Dolce, MS, CMPE, EFPM is the new Director of Health Services for the Student Health Center. Dolce received a Master of Science (MS) in Healthcare Management and Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Loyola University Chicago. His focus will be on providing exemplary student healthcare services to CSU Stanislaus students and promoting optimal health and wellness to the students served.
Megan Christianson - A Certified Health Education Specialist Megan Christianson (CHES), Ms. Christianson received a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion from California State University, Fresno. She will be responsible Peer Health Educator program on campus and for the oversight of the Student Health Advisory Committee. Her desire is to create a more health-conscious campus.
