During the Medical & Health Professions Expo, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of concurrent breakout information sessions designed to provide deeper insight into healthcare careers, educational pathways, and professional preparation.

Throughout the event, students can attend focused sessions led by program representatives and healthcare professionals who will share information about graduate programs, admissions pathways, career opportunities, and strategies for preparing for professional school.

Featured sessions include:

  • Speech-Language Pathology – Learn about the pathway to becoming a speech-language pathologist and the role SLPs play in supporting individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – Explore the DO program at California Health Sciences University and its mission to train physicians who serve underserved communities through holistic, patient-centered care.

  • Allied Health Programs – Discover Modesto Junior College’s health profession programs and certificate pathways designed for career entry and advancement.

  • Graduate Health Science Programs – Learn about University of the Pacific’s graduate health science programs, career pathways, and strategies for becoming a competitive applicant.

These sessions will take place concurrently with the Healthcare Exhibition, allowing attendees to move between the networking area and presentations as their schedule allows.
