Is direct deposit reliable and secure?

Our banking partnership offers all the most up-to-date, secure and modern Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) processes.

How do I sign up?

Students with checking/savings accounts simply complete the Direct Deposit sign up form on-line through your myCSUSTAN account.

How long does it take once I submit the form?

EFT authorizations take effect immediately.

How will I know when funds are in my account?

We will send e-mail notifications to your campus e-mail address posting EFT schedule pay dates.  Many banks offer automated services by which you can check your account for deposits.  If you don’t have a campus e-mail account, contact the Office of Information Technology.

Why should I sign up?

  • Save time
  • Eliminate check cashing hassles
  • Security (no lost or stolen checks) if your address changes
  • Faster access to your money

Direct deposit of financial aid has been the preferred method of financial aid disbursement to students since 2004.  Early sign-up and participation will ensure future payments are not delayed.
