Are you experiencing a housing crisis or need housing navigation?

Our Temporary Housing Program provides displaced students, that are currently enrolled, access to temporary housing placements for up to 3 weeks. Placements may be in on-campus housing in Housing and Residential Life or off-campus dependent on student needs and availability.

As a student, you may find yourself unexpectedly experiencing housing insecurity if you lack safe, stable, regular, and adequate housing, including if you are living in shelters, parks, motels, or your car, or if you are temporarily couch surfing because you have nowhere else to go.

If you are living in any of these situations, or on the verge of experiencing housing insecurity, submit a Temporary Housing Assistance Request and our team will get back to you as soon as able.

Submit Temporary Housing Assistance Request

What to Expect

Once your request is received, you will be contacted  by a member of the Basic Needs team via email and/or phone with a request to connect to discuss your situation further. Students who are placed in temporary housing work closely with a member of the Basic Needs team to develop a plan to transition into stable housing and explore additional campus and community resources.

Submitting Documentation

Documentation is helpful in evaluating your request for assistance. Please include any Financial Aid information notices to Pay or Quit, shut off notices, past due balances, lease information ,eviction notices, etc. that you may have.
