THE INFILTRATORS is a docu-thriller that tells the true story of young immigrants who get arrested by Border Patrol, and put in a shadowy for-profit detention center – on purpose. Marco and Viri are members of the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, a group of radical Dreamers who are on a mission to stop deportations. And the best place to stop deportations, they believe, is in detention.

In honor of the Day of Remembrance: Japanese American WWII Mass Incarceration, the WCCC will host a film & discussion of Reparations which explores the four-century struggle to seek repair and atonement for slavery in the United States. Black and Asian Americans reflect on the legacy of slavery, the inequities that persist, and the critical role that solidarity between communities has in acknowledging and addressing systemic racism in America.

An Intersectional Approach to Supporting Muslim Students on College Campuses. Initiatives for supporting Muslim students are often centered on international or South Asian Muslim students, with rare goals for the involvement of intersectional identities. This session will provide an overview of Islam’s basic teachings that may affect students. Additionally, it will also share the common challenges and experiences of Black, Arab, and female Muslim students as well as recommendations for student affairs professionals to create inclusive and supportive campus environments.
