This is a strength training class centered around the Olympic weightlifting movements (Snatch, and Clean and jerk). This is a great class for individuals interested in learning these movements while wanting to increase strength and lean body mass. We will take a whole-body approach to training. Prepare to get strong and feel empowered!

This workshop will show how to improve writing from the many benefits of journal writing. Students will be encouraged to write journals on paper or a computer to improve their academic writing and critical thinking skills. Examples for how to begin journaling will be included as well as personal tips from the Writing Specialist.

Join the Male Success Initiative and Basic Needs at Stanislaus State for this event that will go over ways in which men can practice self-care. The first 50 people to register and attend will receive a travel bag filled with toiletry items! 

Stanislaus State’s Community Equity Research Center (CERC) announced its first cohort of faculty and graduate fellows for the 2021-2022 academic year.

CERC will assist faculty members and students as they engage in participatory action research that will support and inform efforts to replace patterns of inequitable conditions and outcomes in our communities.
