Nurses with graduate degrees continue to be in high demand and California State University, Stanislaus will start its spring semester with a new program to help meet that need.
The California State University, Stanislaus Office of Alumni Affairs is inviting graduates and their families and friends to participate in a bus trip/skiing venture to Dodge Ridge in Tuolumne County on Saturday, February 28.

Dodge Ridge, Save Mart, and Storer Transportation have teamed up with CSU Stanislaus to offer the $69 package that includes bus transportation round trip to the ski resort and a lift ticket for a day of fun in the snow. Children 6 to 12 and seniors 62 and over get their tickets for $39.
Members of the California State University, Stanislaus Math Club will hold a “Tutoring Night” featuring individual sessions on a variety of mathematics topics on Thursday, February 19 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the University Union Event Center.
A newly formed group called the Turlock Business Council that seeks to advise the City of Turlock on matters related to economic development is on tonight’s Turlock City Council agenda to be formally recognized. 

The Turlock Business Council will advise the City Council on matters related to economic forecasting, economic development, business growth, and workforce development, providing best practices for building and promoting a healthy business climate that attracts new businesses and allows existing businesses to expand and thrive. 

The California State University, Stanislaus Office of Mathematics and Grants will offer review sessions of the California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) I and II this month and in March.

Open to students and members of the community, the 4 to 8 p.m. sessions are scheduled for February 18 and 25 and March 4, 11, and 13. Sessions for CSET 1 will be held in Room 114 in Demergasso-Bava Hall and CSET II sessions will be conducted in Room 205 in Bizzini Hall. Registration fee is $100 and includes a study guide.

The California State University, Stanislaus Mathematics Department is now accepting applications for its highly popular High School Math Access Program (HiMAP), a tutoring academy in mathematics and science for students in grades 6-12.

Long Beach, CA. - The California State Student Association (CSSA) today opened its annual search for a Student Trustee to serve on the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees.  Applications are now being accepted by the CSSA.

The Board of Trustees is the highest policy‐making body for the 23‐campus California State University system.  Trustees establish policies on student fees, admissions, financial aid, technology, student services and other areas that directly impact approximately 450,000 CSU students.
