Bachelor’s Degree
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A minimum grade point average of 2.8 is required as your overall GPA or for your last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted.
Foundation Courses
All applicants must complete six foundation courses, or their approved equivalents, before enrolling in OMBA core courses. During the transcript review process, credit may be granted for equivalent courses completed at regionally accredited institutions, provided a minimum grade of C- or CR was earned and the courses were completed within ten years prior to admission. Applicants who have not yet satisfied all foundation course requirements may be granted conditional admission and will have one semester to complete the remaining prerequisites. The required foundation courses are listed in the table below.

Simply email copies of your transcripts to Dr. David Zhu at dzhu@csustan.edu, and he will confirm whether your transcript/s includes an equivalent for each foundation course from an accredited college or university that can satisfy these eligibility prerequisites.
Work Experience
Candidates for the OMBA Program must demonstrate at least two years of relevant, full-time employment in a professional or supervisory role. Those without the required experience may request a waiver based on exceptional academic performance.
Out-of-State Enrollment
Currently, Stanislaus State is not authorized to offer online instruction or degree programs to students residing outside of the state of California.
Use of CSU Employee Waivers
The Online MBA program is not designated as a stateside program. Therefore, Employee Fee Waivers from Stanislaus State and other CSU campuses are not eligible for the Stan State Online MBA Program. Please contact your campus's HR Department for additional information on Fee Waiver eligibility.
International Student Enrollment
Currently, Stanislaus State is not authorized to admit international students into the Online MBA program if they reside outside of the United States or hold an F-1 visa.
