National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. They are an association of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.

NAMI provides trusted mental health information and resources online, and its campus club creates a supportive space for students to engage in mental health advocacy and peer connection.

NAMI offers a college guide that draws on research to promote inclusive campus spaces where LGBTQ students feel a sense of belonging.
