The California State University, Stanislaus Office of Extended Education is the recipient of a national award in the print advertising category.

An advertisement published in The Modesto Bee alerting students to be on the lookout for their CSU Stanislaus Spring Catalog was selected in the 2009 University Continuing Education Association’s Marketing and Publications competition as a winner for colleges and universities with enrollment under 25,000. That placed CSU Stanislaus in the company of other national winners that included the University of Chicago, Harvard University, Penn State University, and other highly rated universities.

The advertisement was created by Steve Whitt, an Extended Education graphic designer.

The University Continuing Education Association includes some 425 colleges and universities all over the country and more than 2,300 individual professional members.
