Acorn in the forrest

Join Gabriel Duncan for a hands-on introduction to acorn processing and California Native foodways. Students will learn how acorns move from oak to nourishment while exploring the generations of knowledge, labor, relationship, and care held within this important food tradition. Together, we will consider how food can help us remember who we are together and deepen our responsibilities to land, community, and future generations.
