Our Mission
The Office of Student leadership and Development is committed to enhancing the learning environment at CSU Stanislaus. To facilitate this mission we provide students with extracurricular learning and leadership development opportunities. In keeping with this mission, the University Mission and the current goals and priorities of Student Affairs.

Current Student Organizations:
There are over 60 clubs and organizations that are active on campus! The various clubs and organizations range from political, pre-professional, social, fraternities & sororities, cultural, religious, and a great deal more! Some of the membership benefits of being involved with a student-run organization are friendships, mentors, academic & character development, self-governance, etc. A list of current student organizations can be found on our website.
Greek Life:
Currently we have 15 fraternities and sororities on campus. With 9 sororities and 6 fraternities to choose from there is something for everyone.
Starting a new Student Organization:
In order to be recognized as a Student Organization on campus, the prospective organizations President and Treasurer must complete the Officer Orientation on the forms & documents page. Once the Orientation and corresponding Quiz are completed by both the President and Treasurer, a Charter Application will be available to the club President. They will have 30 days to turn in a completed Charter Application to OSLD. It is required that the organization obtain the services of at least one faculty member or administrative staff person who will be willing to work with them as an advisor as well as have a minimum of 5 active members.
Student Activities & Events:
The Office of Student Leadership and Development is committed to enhancing the learning environment at CSU Stanislaus. To facilitate this mission we provide students with co-curricular learning and leadership development opportunities. Some of these programs include: Thirsty Thursdays, Warriors Up All Night, Warrior Day S.I.P Garden, Leader to Leader, and the Student Leadership Program.
Student Leadership & Development Staff:
The Office of Student Leadership and Development houses Four full-time staff members: the Assistant Director, the Student Organization Advisor & Activities Coordinator, and the Leadership Coordinator & Greek Advisor as well as the Office Coordinator.

Fraternity and Sorority Chapter Standards Program Handbook
The Fraternity and Sorority Life Chapter Standards Program is based upon the Shared Principles for Greek Life Organizations and the California State Universities. The fraternities and sororities at CSU Stanislaus reflect the dynamic and diverse campus community. Currently, there are sixteen international/national and local fraternal organizations.
