A document is considered accessible when it can be read, perceived and understood by all users — including those with disabilities. Many types of applications will require you to submit a written statement. For job applications, you may need to write a cover letter and resume to convey you are the best person for the job. for jobs and personal statements for scholarships and grad schools. Sometimes, those directions are vague or unclear. However, most are going to be asking you to talk on similar points. This workshop will talk about what those might be. We will review strategies for strengthening your writing and, ultimately, your application.
Join us for the 14th annual World Language Symposium, where Modern Language majors and minors showcase their academic work from the 2024–2025 academic year. The Ethnic Studies Department's 7th Annual Race and Power Film Festival is set to take place this year from Monday, April 28 to Sunday, May 4. Throughout the festival, a variety of films will be highlighted each day at different times. This year's film festival will be held virtually through the platform Eventive, with an in-person component taking place at the Warrior Steps. Both events are free and open to everyone.
