Dr. Jacquay has been involved with KCSS Radio since he was a undergrad as Stan State in 1993. He has been the General Manager since 1998 and teaches Radio Production Laboratory each semester. In addition, Greg teaches Group Discussion Processes, Introduction to Mass Media and Public Speaking.
As an educator, Greg is particularly interested in hands-on experiential learning environments. In each of his courses, students engage in exercises and assignments designed to practice and develop effective communication strategies. At KCSS, students develop resume-building skills in media production, problem solving, promotions and community engagement.
Dr. Jacquay published his dissertation, “Is This Thing On? The Learning Possibilities for Participants at a College Radio Station” in 2019 and actively pursues research opportunities in college radio and cocurricular learning.
