Fresno poet John Veinberg, whose works have been published in books and journals all over the country, will make a presentation at California State University, Stanislaus on Thursday, October 5 at 2:30 p.m.
Veinberg will read from his book “Oarless Boats, Vacant Lots” in the South Dining Room at the Turlock campus, 801 W. Monte Vista Ave., Turlock. Admission is free and open to the public.
A mental health counselor in Fresno, Veinberg has published four books of poems and co-edited another book. His awards include NEA grants in 1984 and 1995 and he has been published in a number of reviews and included in numerous anthologies.
