Art Exhibition from Nov. 19 - 21: It's Not Just Me It's Everybody by Mayra Soria

The BFA Solo Gallery at Stan State Art Space is thrilled to announce the BFA Solo Exhibition It's Not Just Me It's Everybody by Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate Mayra Soria from November 19-21st. An opening reception will take place November 20th from 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. with an artist talk at 4:30 p.m. (Stan State Art Space, 226 N. First St., Turlock, CA 95380)

In this body of work, I reflect on our relationship to technology as an extension of ourselves and as a tool of expression. In a world where visual media is mass-produced—also with AI—there comes a demoralization of what we consider "good" content as long as it is entertaining. I meditate on these ideas by utilizing the digital and traditional through paintings and installations.
