Current & Past Editions
The most recent editions of Penumbra can be found online.
On Dia De Los Muertos, November 2nd, 2023, we officially released our Fall edition of Penumbra: A Menagerie of Monsters and the Macabre. Those who submitted were
encouraged to explore the unsettling, the dark, and the mysterious with their poetry, art, and short fiction. Penumbra would like to thank Joseph Rios, Poet Laureate of Fresno, for speaking at our launch event and sharing his poetry with us. The entirety of our horror collection can be found on our website.
Penumbra would like to thank everyone who attended this year's launch. It was wonderful to celebrate our latest edition in-person! Penumbra would like to extend a personal thank you to the Art Gallery for hosting us and to all of our contributors for sharing their work with us. To see photos of the launch visit our socials at @csustanpenumbra.
Penumbra Online's fall 2022 edition centers around the theme of horror and general spookiness. Thank you to all who submitted to us. We hope you enjoy this haunting edition of our journal!
