Provide students of the college community with the knowledge, awareness, and skills to identify and prevent high-risk behaviors that may lead to alcohol-related deaths, discrimination and/or harassment, including sexual violence. Our Warrior Watch members are encouraged to promote a student culture of kindness, responsibility, compassion, and respect.
By attending this training students will be able to:
- Recognize the signs of alcohol poisoning;
- Identify and report discrimination and/or harassment, including sexual violence;
- Effectively intervene with their peers;
- Empower students to take care of themselves.
Warrior Watch participants are provided CPR and first aid certification training, in depth bystander intervention training, alcohol awareness training, and discrimination/harassment/sexual violence awareness training. To be a Warrior Watch member, you must complete all the training requirements and one post-training check-in session. Opportunities to participate in additional events offered.
