Blair Ehrlich capped off her extraordinary Stanislaus State career with one of the highest achievement awards a student-athlete can receive as she was name to the list of the AVCA Division II All-Americans as an honorable mention.

Ehrlich, who became the program's first AVCA All-Region honoree last month, is the very first Warrior to earn this award in volleyball in Stan State history.

Ehrlich spiked 421 kills in 2016 — a California Collegiate Athletic Association best — as she was named to the All-CCAA First Team for her second consecutive All-Conference award. She became just the fourth Warrior to surpass the 1,000-kill plateau before finishing with 1,314. She also now holds the program record for career attacks (4,514) and attacks in a season (1,408). With that 421-kill total, she now sits at the top of the single-season record, breaking recent Warrior Hall of Famer Sarah Barnett's previous high of 419.

The outside hitter from San Diego led the Warriors to their first postseason tournament appearance as a Division II program in 2015. Then, she concluded her career by helping Stanislaus State record its first-ever postseason victory in a CCAA quarterfinal win over UC San Diego.

Ehrlich is among the 55 Division II student-athletes to receive the AVCA All-American honorable mention. She is just one of our players from the CCAA on the honorable mention list while three others made the first, second or third teams with Cal State San Bernardino's Malika O'Brien earning a first-team honor.

Annie Wolfe of Nebraka Kearney was named player of the year and Angelo State's Meghan Parker was freshman of the year.
