Laura Dickinson-Turner

Laura graduated from CSU Stanislaus in 2005 with her B.A. in Theatre Arts.   After graduation, she moved to New York City, where she lived for four years. While there, she worked for 101 Productions, Ltd, a Broadway general management company (which allowed her to go to the Tony Awards not once, but twice!), and she was the Executive Assistant to the CFO of the Institute of International Education. She also was part of the sketch comedy group MyMK47, which performed at the Broadway Comedy Club for nine months.  Laura also co-wrote, co-directed, and co-produced the off-off-Broadway play Five Seconds to Air with Evan Storey.  In 2009 she moved back to the Central Valley, where she has been performing, working, and attempting to complete a Master's in English Literature.

Laura is thrilled to be back at her alma mater, manning the frontlines in the Theatre Office, and helping a new generation of theatre students get their feet wet.
