About Warrior Leadership Program

The Warrior Leadership Program allows students to get involved with a comprehensive leadership program that includes workshops, conferences, and community service. This program focuses on helping students build leadership in six different content areas:

  • Leadership Development
  • Civic Engagement
  • Career Development
  • Diversity & Inclusion
  • Wellness
  • Warrior Spirit

There are two tracks in which students can register.

Emerging Leaders

Leaders who are new and looking to develop leadership skills.

Emerging Leaders Track

  • Attend six (6) workshops, one from each leadership theme
  • Complete ten (10) hours of community service
  • Enter all workshops and community service hours into WarriorLife with reflections
  • Create a Co-Curricular Transcript

Advanced Leaders

Leaders who are looking to refine and expand their existing leadership skills.

Advanced Leaders Track

  • Attend twelve (12) workshops, at least one from each leadership theme
  • Complete twenty (20) hours of community service
  • Enter all workshops and community service hours into WarriorLife with reflections
  • Create LinkedIn Profile
  • Create a Co-Curricular Transcript

  • Open to all Stan State Students
  • Two Pathways to choose from - Emerging or Advanced
  • Attend Workshops to develop and refine your leadership skills
  • Participate in Community Service
  • Document your workshops and experiences on WarriorLife and Co-Curricular Transcript
  • Become a Stan State Certified Student Leader
  • Be recognized at the annual Student Leadership Awards
  • Earn graduation stole after completing the Advanced Leaders Pathway
  • WLP is open to all Stanislaus State students from their first semester to their last. 
  • Students can complete the WLP program at their own pace at both the Turlock and Stockton campuses!

All workshops and experiences must be documented through WarriorLife, which will help you build a Co-Curricular Transcript, and make you more marketable when you are looking for employment.
