The Campus Cares Program was founded on the principle of helping those who need it most. When students experience personal crisis or an emergency situation, they may be overwhelmed by the circumstances of the situation. When a student is experiencing a specific financial need because of an emergency or crisis, emergency funding can provide timely support when critically needed to assist the student. Recognizing that unforeseen financial emergencies will occur for students, the Campus Cares Program can help meet the immediate needs of students experiencing crisis situations.
Emergency funding is designed to provide temporary, short-term, financial assistance to students who are managing demanding academic requirements while struggling with unexpected financial circumstances. Provided in the form of one-time awards, emergency funding is not intended to provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses, and these awards are not loans that students are expected to repay. The value of the award will range in response to the needs of the student.
How long will it take for a staff member to contact me?
A staff member will contact you as soon as possible. You can expect to be responded to between 1-3 business days. Please account for the times that the account is unmonitored including after business hours on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and campus closures.
How long will it take for services to be available?
As soon as approved. We have a streamlined approval process and try to make the services available as quickly as possible.
